I’m excited to share this episode on Building Self-Confidence with Omole Imosemi.
Omole Imosemi is the Founder/CEO of Brandlee Solutions Ltd, an organization that provides resourcing, consulting, and support services to businesses, not-for-profits, public institutions, as well as, individuals.
She is also a seasoned trainer with a well-established career in Learning and Development.
In 2018, as part of her efforts to bridge the gap in learning methods applied by most corporate organizations, Omole Imosemi designed a distinctive book-based workshop approach to learning and development.
And so far, her workshops have impacted participants from over 40 organizations, including world-renowned conglomerates.
In this conversation, Omole shares very profound insights on what self-confidence entails, the impact of self-awareness and self-esteem on self-confidence, the misconceptions around self-confidence, and of course, how to grow your self confidence.
Here are some nuggets from our conversation.
The true metric of Self-Confidence is in the actions that we take, particularly in a place of growth or in a place of fear. Your ability to push past the seemingly impossible or unimaginable is self-confidence.
A lot of people mistake Self-Confidence for Self-Esteem. While Self-Esteem relates to who we are, Self-Confidence relates to what we do in projecting who we are.
Building Self-Confidence is a life-long process. Over time, our Self-Confidence either appreciates or depreciates, depending on how well we show up and take actions as occasions demand.
Extroversion is not Self-Confidence!
While Extroversion relates to the state of being energized through external exchanges, Self-Confidence relates to the actions that we take, particularly in a place of growth or in a place of fear.
